Slowing Down to Come Home: How Decluttering Changed My Life—and Became My Mission | February 2025

In a world that rewards hustle, I chose to slow down—and it changed everything.

In November 2024, I began what I thought was a simple project: decluttering and organizing my home. Over the course of three months, I sorted, simplified, and created space. But something unexpected happened—this process didn’t just clear my home… it cleared my head.

As I made room in my physical space, I began to notice a shift within. I was breathing easier, thinking more clearly, and feeling more grounded. The constant noise—of stuff, schedules, and stress—started to quiet. And what emerged was something powerful: a desire to live with more intention.

That’s when I truly embraced the slow living mindset.

And I didn’t wait until January 1st to make a change. During the decluttering process, I realized just how much I owned—far more than I needed. So, before 2025 even started, I made a resolution: no spending on clothes or unnecessary items for myself. I wanted to break the cycle of consumerism and reclaim contentment—and I’m proud to say I’m still going strong.

I also took a deeper look at what was in my home—beyond just clutter. I began detoxing my environment, removing plastics where possible, and eliminating toxic cleaning and personal care products. Creating a healthier, more intentional home became part of the journey. And it felt incredible.

Through all of this, I felt God’s hand gently leading me. Slowing down gave me space to hear more clearly, live more faithfully, and serve more purposefully. This wasn’t just a personal shift—it became my mission.

Today, I offer a holistic, faith-rooted personal concierge service that helps others create peace, order, and intentionality—inside and out. I work with clients to declutter and organize not just their homes, but their hearts. Together, we simplify spaces, streamline routines, and make room for what truly matters.

Because when your environment is calm, your mind can be too.
When your schedule is intentional, your energy returns.
And when your heart is aligned with your purpose, everything flows with more grace.

Whether you’re overwhelmed by clutter, craving simplicity, or seeking a deeper shift in how you live—this work is for you. It’s personal. It’s transformational. And I’ve been where you are.

So if you’re ready to slow down, let go, and come home to yourself—I’m here to help.

Let’s clear the clutter, detox your space, and simplify your life—one room and one rhythm at a time, led by grace and grounded in purpose.
